The Cone Table

First designed in the early 1980s and widely considered John's masterpiece — a single sculptural cone supporting a disc top, with a smaller cone rising at centre. The engineering of the all-timber base is complex enough that only seven original Cone Tables exist anywhere in the world; the imitations swap the base for stainless steel.
